The challenge
As a leading bank of Switzerland and a global company, UBS has an excellent reputation concerning safety. It protects its customers information adhering to highest safety standards. UBS also wants to digitally offer these strong values to its customers.
Therefore they tasked us with the design and development of the interaction concept of UBS Safe: a desktop application and mobile app, in which important documents, banking documents and passwords can be saved and managed.
Our approach
Combining an iterative process with workshops together with UBS we were able to develop user-oriented conceptual ideas and design templates. For the introduction and to demonstrate the concept a clickable prototype was developed.
UBS Safe is divided into the sections “Personal”, “Banking documents” and “Passwords”. The documents are stored safely on UBS servers in Switzerland.
- Personal: Documents can be stored in special folders and folders can be added with free choice concerning the level of safety (login via AccessCard or password / touch ID)
- Banking documents: Storage of account statements and banking documents. Customers can store their UBS documents automatically and for an unlimited period of time. Due to single-sign-on customers can directly access their UBS Safe via e-banking.
- Passwords: Managing passwords.
All sections can also be reached via UBS Safe App.
By introducing the new Safe, UBS offers their customers a tailor-made storage platform.
The user interface convinces with visual guidance and an easy performance.
