The challenge
With more than 650 stores, Kaufland is one of the biggest food retailers in Germany and is also represented in six other countries in Central and Eastern Europe. In total the retailer operates more than 1,200 stores in Europe.
Following the successful website relaunch in October 2016, Kaufland wants to take another important step towards ordering at all digital touchpoints by offering a mobile app. In parallel to the e-shop, customers should be able to make their purchases via app while enjoying a seamless user experience.
Our approach
- Support implementation of a native iOS and Android app parallel to the development of the e-shop

With the intelligent delivery time calculation for all products offered and the sharing of shopping lists via WhatsApp customers are highly flexible – from purchase planning to delivery.

Because of the integrated feedback function, the retailer continuously receives an up-to-date status concerning the satisfaction of the app and offers customers their own channel for suggestions for improvement.
