The Staff Consultant, Analysis & Insights role at Cardinal Path is designed for people who are eager to build a career in digital analytics. This is our entry-level position and areas of growth include (but are not limited to) data visualization, data science, reporting & analysis and optimization strategy.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with industry thought leaders and world-class clients. We will teach you our analytics methodologies which will be executed through both automated reporting and ongoing analysis.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Build and present observational analysis leveraging web analytic data and Microsoft Powerpoint
  • Data pulls from various web and media analytics tools
  • Assist in developing measurement frameworks and KPI documents
  • Be able to work in a team environment and be accountable for the time spent on various tasks/projects
  • Understand the infrastructure whereby data is collected, either on a website or via media tools; use debugging tools when needed
  • Develop visuals to explain data trends, either via dashboarding or data visualization tools
  • Develop clear communications in response to client queries
  • Manage multiple tasks across multiple projects in a timely manner

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated experience with Google Analytics 4
  • Intermediate storytelling skills when building presentations
  • Intermediate data visualization experience leveraging tools such as Looker Studio, PowerBI, or Excel
  • Experience presenting analysis and insights to stakeholders, clients or through coursework
  • Demonstrated ability to pick up new skills proactively
  • Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage time effectively
  • Use sound judgment to identify issues and escalate them when appropriate
  • Takes constructive feedback well and not afraid to ask questions when help is needed

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (quantitative field preferred)
  • Prior experience with business analysis focusing on performance optimization
  • Exposure to advanced web analytics methodologies such A/B testing, attribution, survey analysis
  • Prior experience working with web data reporting and/or analysis
  • Data visualization and advanced analytics platforms such as Tableau, Domo, Data Studio, SQL or R experience a plus
