Ugam, a Merkle company, has once again been recognized as a leader in the ‘Top Data Science Providers in India 2022 Penetration and Maturity (PeMa)’ report. This is the second time in a row that Ugam, now rebranding as Merkle, has been recognized as a leader on the PeMa quadrant.
Analytics India Magazine (AIM) is a prominent publication in India that conducts an annual assessment of data science firms. This is used to create the PeMa quadrant, an industry benchmark of vendor capabilities. In this study, AIM measures the key parameters of leading data science service providers in terms of their Penetration (Pe) and Maturity (Ma). Based on their relative positions in the quadrant, the companies are then plotted as Leaders, Seasoned Vendors, Challengers, and Growth Vendors. This year, the study was undertaken by 41 data science companies in India and Ugam was featured in the Leaders quadrant.
Ugam, a Merkle company enjoys long-tenured client relationships with Fortune 1000 companies. They help customers maximize the value of their customer portfolios through delivery of unique, personalized customer experiences across platforms and devices. This is highlighted through Ugam’s Customer Confidence score in the study, where Ugam has ranked highest among all the firms. Customer Confidence is a sub-index on the Penetration scale that is based on the total number of clients, number of Fortune 500 clients, and growth secured from repeat clients.
Ugam also secured a rank among the top three firms for Work Delivery, a sub-index on the Maturity scale. The Work Delivery sub-index measures the capabilities of an organization in terms of the technology, its best projects, and its client portfolio. This score recognizes that Ugam has worked on some of the most complex projects using state-of-the-art techniques and technologies. It also appreciates Ugam for its ability to produce end-to-end scalable projects through of the availability of the right and ample resources.
Earlier this year, Ugam was also recognized as one of the ‘Best 50 firms for Data Scientists to work for’ by AIM and ‘Top 3 Most Promising Data Science Companies’ by Analytics Insight.
