Merkle rated among the Elite in The Drum’s Digital Agency Census

Merkle (www.merkle.com), a leading technology-enabled, data-driven customer experience management company and part of dentsu, has been announced as seventh in The Drum UK Digital Agency Census 2021 Elite List.

The Drum Digital Census is a major piece of market research on the digital agency community in the UK. It draws on the results of several surveys including opinions of agency staff and their clients, to build a comprehensive ranking of the top agencies providing digital services.

Merkle scored 9th in the most awarded agency list and was scored highly as one of the best agencies to work for, calling out in particular its comprehensive and proactive staff training and wellbeing programmes.

In the final report – The Elite List – which combines the scores across awards, client and peer polls, Merkle landed seventh place, placing it among the top digital agencies in the country.

This ranking follows an impressive run of accolades for Merkle and its people in 2020, against a backdrop of the global pandemic, during which is posted solid growth. Merkle also won Silver in the Campaign’s Performance Marketing Agency of the Year category, and Merkle’s head of media, Laura Collins was named an honoree in Campaign’s Female Frontiers awards, acknowledging her contribution to Diversity Equity and Inclusion.

Anne Stagg, UK CEO, Merkle said: “I am delighted that Merkle has been named among the Elite in The Drum’s Digital Agency Census. This is fantastic recognition of the great work our people are doing for our clients and also of our culture. Against a backdrop of a challenging year for the industry, our people, clients and partners have supported each other to deliver the best possible outcomes for all involved. I am incredibly proud of everything we have achieved.”
