The purpose of this role is to create solution architectures for systems and platforms ensuring all relevant options are explored for time, cost and compliance to the company's standards, policies and practices whilst meeting the business' requirements. The role will oversee the work of other architects and delivery of the solution for clients both internal and external, shepherding it through the relevant governance.

As a Lead Solutions Architect, you will create solutions architectures for systems and platforms, ensuring all relevant options are explored for time, cost, and are in compliance to company standards whilst meeting the business' requirements. This is a remote-friendly position reporting to Commerce Technical Director.

Responsibilities:

• You will develop solution design options based on business requirements, ensuring alignment with company standards, architectural patterns, and best practices. Provide recommendations for the solution.
• You will design and present comprehensive technical solutions, including data flows, transformations, and integrations, for client review and approval.
• You will analyze customer use cases and available data to design automated and scalable data ingestion processes that meet requirements.
• You will ensure all solutions follow company policies, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements, maintaining the highest standards of security and governance.
• You will ensure strict compliance with governance frameworks and due diligence measures applicable to the proposed solutions.
• You will lead the development and delivery team in customizing the platform and implementing the approved solution, ensuring seamless execution and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience designing and delivering solutions on SAP Commerce Cloud (or Hybris)
• Certified on "SAP Certified Professional - Developer - SAP Commerce Cloud" on v2105 or higher
• Experience designing and delivering Micro-Services based solutions using frameworks like SpringBoot/Quarkus on cloud platforms like Azure/GCP/AWS
• Experience integrating with 3rd party systems like ERP, OMS, Payment gateways, Tax systems, Marketplaces, Product Configurators, DAM, CMS, Composable Storefronts, etc.
• Expert in languages like Java (including JSP), JavaScript
• Exposure to languages and technologies like NodeJS, React, CSS, HTML, Groovy, TypeScript
• Exposure to Relational database concepts, with intermediate proficiency in SQL
• Prior experience working in an agency or consulting environment, delivering solutions across multiple industries and business domains.
• Experience leading large, distributed teams across multiple time zones (onshore, nearshore, offshore), ensuring seamless collaboration and project execution.
• Hands-on experience with data security and privacy best practices, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

The annual salary range for this position is $113,000-$182,850. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
