About the Team

The Technology Strategy group helps Fortune 500 marketing and technology leaders develop and execute holistic plans to harness technology in pursuit of their goals. With a services offering ranging from capability assessments/road mapping, emerging technologies workshops, integrated solution architecture, and platform selection our team combines expertise in digital strategy, marketing technology and consulting, covering both the art and technical know-how needed to ideate, develop and orchestrate customer experiences.

In a nutshell: We assist clients in selecting, purchasing, implementing, integrating, and adopting technology within a winning strategy.

Job Description

As our Technology Strategy Manager you will work remotely partnering with other senior leaders on each project. You will be called to master our frameworks and develop a deep understanding of how the entire marketing technology stack comes together to enable our client's vision. While you will be encouraged to find an area of focus, you will have the opportunity to work across industries (from Retail to Financial Services and Pharmaceutical). You will work with subject matter experts from both Merkle and Dentsu networks to advise clients developing recommendations, educational content, and thought leadership that will come together in sound consulting deliverables informing planning, key decisions and technical implementations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise, vendor knowledge, and industry best practices across digital technology components including: Identity Resolution, Data Management and Architecture, Analytics/ Measurement & Reporting, Artificial Intelligence and Modeling, Audience Management, Testing and Optimization, Content Management and Delivery, Channel Personalization, Demand Generation, and AdTech.
  • Build relationships and manage client expectations by facilitating and driving client meetings and discussions, managing daily delivery efforts partnering with senior team members.
  • Lead discovery meetings with clients, new partners, vendors or subject matter experts taking notes, gathering documentation and identifying follow-ups.
  • Partner with the project principal in developing recommendations for how to best leverage information and technology to drive programs across all channels and media including:
  • Tailor content to the context and project needs
  • Develop new content (i.e. Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Lucidchart, Miro, Vizio)
  • Develop materials to illustrate and educate teams on how CX technology components work together to support evolved customer experiences.
  • Provide project management expertise and ensure project deadlines and expectations are met
  • Develop point of views across CX technologies and be able to research, create, and articulate that to external audiences
  • Build templates or new visualizations that creatively explain complex technologies to external or internal audiences

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
  • Minimum 4 years experience in consulting within technology or marketing
  • Minimum 3 years experience working in a digital agency, digital marketing provider, digital software provider, digital marketing organization implementing or operating marketing technology in a specific field
  • Minimum 1 year as the primary consultant lead driving all engagement deliverables
  • Minimum 1 year experience managing more junior analysts, delegating work and coaching/providing feedback on their work
  • Experience supporting multiple consulting engagement types from short-term roadmap consulting, RFP consulting, retainer consulting, solution design consulting, etc.
  • Experience contributing to external expertise and leadership, creation of new go to market materials, lead the design of new internal practice development
  • Working knowledge of Customer Relationship Marketing (CRM) technical concepts and tools including relational databases, customer data integration, analytic modeling, campaign management and business intelligence systems.
  • Ability to travel for clients up to 50%

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $94,000 - $152,375 /year.

Salary is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
