The purpose of this role is to produce, curate and manage a variety of information to be consumed by colleagues, both Technical and Business focused. This role will build an understanding of the technology stack and its associated products and applications collaborating with Product and Technical resources to produce documentation for a variety of technical and business consumers, providing this information in various forms such as interactive tutorials, wikis, blogs & podcasts.

As a Product Manager, you’ll oversee the Product Lifecycle and the Agile process of our internal data lake. You'll manage and maintain a long-standing, crucial infrastructure product that supports large amounts of company revenue while also delivering and launching new solutions. You’ll work with internal stakeholders and teams to aid in the management of our existing infrastructure while also developing the next generation solution. Our ideal Product Manager has experience working with data, large files, and cloud-based infrastructure.

This is a remote-friendly position reporting to VP, Product.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide product management leadership for corporate stakeholders, product owners, internal customers, and developers
  • With the product owner, define and manage the product and its roadmap
  • Conduct, manage, and run our Agile process
  • Ensure the continued continuity of the product
  • Elicit and gather product requirements using interviews, workshops, surveys, scenarios, task and workflow analysis
  • Translate requirements into agile epics and user stories, with measureable and testable acceptance criteria
  • Run and manage the Agile process, including daily standups, planning meetings, sprints, demos, and retrospectives
  • With the Product Owner, determine each quarters goals, prioritize the backlog, and manage the iterative directional roadmap based on business value and needs
  • Work with the engineering leads to build sprint plans that meet team goals
  • Communicate progress to the senior management and our stakeholders in the form of release notes, and presentations
  • Bridge the gap between internal customer success and engineering to ensure existing solutions operate and meet needs
  • Occasional travel to other Merkle offices is required

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of Agile experience, specifically running agile projects and teams
  • 3+ years as a Product Manager working directly with stakeholders: customers, end-users, clients, executives, product owners, etc.
  • 2+ years of digital media experience and domain knowledge
  • 2+ years of working in/with software development teams
  • Familiarity with AWS infrastructure
  • Familiarity with Snowflake
  • Ability to describe complex concepts with simple, plain-language examples

The anticipated salary range for this position is $78,000 - $126,500. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
