About the job

The purpose of this role is to develop required software features, achieving timely delivery in compliance with the performance and quality standards of the company.

We are looking for a PHP Developer to strengthen our Smart Integrations team!

Key responsibilities:

  • Work independently with a broader overview on the project;
  • Participate in communications with partners and clients, when needed;
  • Understand and follow the release processes in the company;
  • Participates in requirements analysis, development, unit testing and documentation;
  • Write quality code to fit unique customer needs and configurations;
  • Troubleshoot and debugs (with some guidance from senior team members if needed);
  • Achieve better understanding of the company platform and processes and suggests improvements.

You will be reporting to the Smart Integrations Manager.

What we are looking for:

  • Academic background in IT or equivalent;
  • At least 4 years of experience with PHP;
  • Strong working experience and knowledge with PHP feom 7.3 to 8.1;
  • Clear understanding of OOP, Design Patterns and anti-patterns, and SOLID principles;
  • Working experience with relational Databases DBMS;
  • A good understanding of project tools (Atlassian OR git/svn ...) is required;
  • Experienced with testing layers (unit, integration, and functional testing);
  • Knowledge in algorithms and distributed systems;
  • Proficiency in English.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Ecom solutions such as Magento, Prestashop, CS-Cart, xCart OR any PHP CMS as WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, etc;
  • Knowledge in JavaScript (ES6) is a plus;
  • Experience with services/microservices oriented architecture, ideally in an e-commerce scope;
  • Familiar with SCRUM methodology.
