About the job
The purpose of this role is to maintain, improve, clean and manipulate data in the business’s customer data platforms/databases. The CDP Lead works with the business’s software engineers, data analytics teams, data scientists and data warehouse engineers in order to understand and aid in the implementation of CDP requirements, analyse performance, and troubleshoot any existent issues.
Mandatory (top 5)
- Experience in Leading Customer Data Platform development
- Experience in Python or Java Scripting or Node.JS
- Experience with APIs (REST, Open APIs, CURL)
- Data analysis, ingestions, modeling, and mapping
- Experience on unstructured data using JSON/Parquet file format
Preferred (top 5)
- Understanding of CCPA, GDPR, and other Data Protection Acts
Client facing experience - Experience with Reporting Technologies
- Experience on any AEP, ActionIQ, Lytics, Segment, Tealium, C360
- Big Data ETLs
- Leading the team in the implementation of technical solutions and driving proof of concepts
- Responsible for building a data model based on the gathered requirements and data architecture.
- Responsible for data ingestion into the CDP platform via batch and real-time streaming modes - using ETL, API, JavaScript, etc
- Responsible for data extraction/outbound dataflows to the reporting tools, other Adobe products or 3rd party system
- Responsible for working on defined business rules/transformations/BRDs
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop solutions for the CDP platform for marketing activation use cases.
- Should be able to work on queries, segment development, audience creation/activations, customer journey orchestrations
- Should be able to define segments and orchestrate customer journeys based on the BRD
