About the job

A Software Engineer is curious and self-driven to build and maintain multi-terabyte operational marketing databases and integrate them with cloud technologies. Our databases typically house millions of individuals and billions of transactions and interact with various web services and cloud-based platforms. Once hired, the qualified candidate will be immersed in the development and maintenance of multiple database solutions to meet global client business objectives

Key responsibilities:

  • Have 2 – 4 yrs exp 

  • Will work in close Supervision of Tech Leads/ Lead Devs 

  • Should able to understand detailed design with minimal explanation. 

  • Individual Contributor. 

  • Resource will able to perform mid to complex level tasks with minimal supervision. Senior team members will peer review assigned tasks. 

  • Build and configure our Marketing Database/Data environment platform by integrating feeds as per detailed design/transformation logic. 

  • Good knowledge of Unix scripting &/or Python 

  • Must have strong knowledge in SQL 

  • Good understanding of ETL (Talend, Informatica, Datastage, Ab Initio etc) as well as database skills (Oracle, SQL server, Teradata, Vertica, redshift, Snowflake, Big query, Azure DW etc). 

  • Fair understanding of relational databases, stored procs etc. 

  • Experience in Cloud computing (one or more of AWS, Azure, GCP) will be plus. 

  • Less supervision & guidance from senior resources will be required.
