This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing team. As a key player, you’ll play a crucial role in the growth of the business in DACH, developing strong relationships and the seamless execution of a wide variety of research projects.

The role offers variety and will include:

  • Growing the DACH business by understanding client research needs, writing winning proposals for new and existing clients and pitching.
  • Implementing outbound business development initiatives, including (but not limited to) new client outreach and lead generation, lapsed client programmes, existing account upsell, and building relationships within the broader dentsu/Merkle group to identify and create research opportunities.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to build and communicate a DACH marketing plan to deliver growth in the DACH region.
  • Overseeing research projects from start to finish. Translating complex qualitative and quantitative data into impactful insights and recommendations for clients.
  • Owning and fostering relationships with clients, finding opportunities to rejuvenate lapsed clients and growing the size of existing accounts.
  • Mentoring and guiding team members enhancing their client management skills and insight capabilities.

Qualifications

We’re seeking curious, ambitious and analytical individuals with the following experience and skills:

  • Business / client development experience: proven ability to identify growth opportunities and nurture client relationships, designing research projects to answer client objectives. 
  • Commercial market research experience: ideally you will have at least 10+ years of experience in commercial market research, with a track record of success.
  • Analytical mindset: a natural interest and desire to interpret quantitative and qualitative data, translating raw data into clear conclusions and actionable recommendations.
  • Experience across the full-research lifecycle: experience managing a range of market research projects ensuring the execution of multiple projects simultaneously.  
  • Exceptional communication skills: strong communication and presentation skills in German & English, with the ability to articulate findings in a compelling and engaging manner.
