Merkle supports the non-profit organization again this year
Code Excursion was created three years ago by the two women Corina Schedler and Louise Serenhov. It is a non-profit organization that aims to inspire women of all backgrounds to become programmers.
"In the beginning, we were not interested in promoting women exclusively. We just wanted to learn to code in a positive, motivated group, free from hierarchies and competition. Due to the large number of registrations on the first call on Facebook, we realized that many other women had exactly the same need, and so we decided to continue with "Women only" as a concept" - Corina Schedler.
Merkle has already supported the organization Code Excursion in 2019. And this year we would like to actively help the initiative again - not with money, but with action. Doreen Heigener, Larissa Bühler, Ina Kuhn and Petra Michel are available to the motivated course participants for technical questions for twelve weeks (September to December), alternately each Saturday and give tips and tricks on programming. Pure women's power and that despite having a full-time job, or part-time and as a mom. Great respect to you. We thank you very much for your commitment and wish you a great time.
