Why female hackathon?
We at Merkle, hire 49% of females and we’re aware that is an important thing in our culture. Because of it, we especially focus on women empowerment and gender equality as a good-practice example in a male dominant IT industry.
Before you start filling in your Application form, we would like to show you some quick ground rules:
- You can apply as a team of three or as an individual
- If you’re applying as a team each team member must fill in the application form
- Chosen individuals will be divided into teams of three members by Merkle
- Only female applicants are allowed to participate
- Teams can use any programming language they want
- No previous experience is required; you should only possess a laptop
- Merkle provides mentors
- The event is free, but registration is required

Applications are open until 5th December at 24.00 and the competition will take place on 11th December from 8.30 to 21.00 in Merkle Serbia office / via an online platform.*
